2018 Tickled Pink: A Gathering of Girlfriends Event

Last Friday, over 400 guests gathered at our headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana to support the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer and their annual fall event — Tickled Pink, a Gathering of Girlfriends. This is a must each year for supporters, community members and Vera Bradley associates to come together in support of a meaningful cause. Hundreds of pink-clad guests flooded our home office and were greeted with a silent auction, photo booth, delicious appetizers and even a life-sized disc drop game!

Supporters spent the evening mingling over a variety of activities including a DIY bath salt station, rosé tasting and our giant Plinko-inspired game which was, of course, covered in our patterns. Guests could even win a secret gift by making a $20 donation to the Vera Bradley Foundation. Needless to say, everyone had a great time coming together for the ultimate ladies night out.

The highlight of the evening was when Lynda Houk, the Executive Director of the Vera Bradley Foundation presented a check for $2.2 million to the Vera Bradley Foundation Center for Breast Cancer Research at the Indiana University School of Medicine. These generous donations bring the total amount raised to $32.5 million!

Tickled Pink 2018 may be over, but we’re still fully committed to supporting the cause throughout National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Vera Bradley is matching every donation dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000 made online and in stores during the month of October. Learn more about how you can get involved with four ideas on how to show your support.
