5 Ways to Wear Pattern:
Outfit Ideas

No one loves pattern as much as we do, and we firmly believe you can incorporate it into your daily look. We design with you in mind, so we want to give you the confidence to carry your favorite bag, no matter the occasion or day of the week. We tapped style blogger and pattern-mixing pro, Jess Keys, to share her simple styling tips for incorporating prints into your wardrobe. brunch date

“Sometimes mixing patterns can be tricky, but pairing a stripe with a floral is one of the most foolproof combinations out there — they’re contrasting, yet complementary! A striped tee is a classic staple and the punchy floral tote adds a hint of playfulness! I added in a bright slide for another pop of color, and the neckerchief for a casual, French-girl flair!”

work meeting

“I get it — the 9-5 office environment doesn’t exactly allow for a ton of fun attire. However, a great work-appropriate way to jazz up your office outfit is by adding a fun work bag! This Coral Floral print truly is suitable for all occasions, and puts a way bigger smile on your face than a plain black tote ever would! Plus, it easily fits your planner, a laptop and has plenty of pockets to stash your wallet and extra pens, too!”

hot yoga class

“Just when you thought this tote couldn’t get any more versatile — think again! It makes the perfect gym bag — it holds a spare set of clothes easily and it’s the perfect size to balance your yoga mat on top! (Don’t forget your cute water bottle!)”

date night

“Another trick for mixing patterns? Vary the scale! The subtle, small-scale print of this off the shoulder blouse pairs beautifully with the bold, larger floral pattern of the bag, balancing each other perfectly! Espadrilles are the perfect springy addition to top off the outfit for date night or happy hour.”

weekend trip

“Who said you couldn’t jet-set in style? Get ready for a spring getaway with a graphic tee, cropped jeans and a fun scarf (which doubles as the cutest swim cover-up once you hit the beach)! Between the roomy tote and rolling luggage, you’ll have enough space for all your essentials (and a few extra options to boot — because a girl’s gotta have lots of options)! The print of the scarf, tote and luggage mix well with their common color scheme and varied scales of pattern! They also give you a reason to look forward to that 5 am flight!”

The small Vera Tote is way too small for a gym bag. The Iconic Vera would be a better fit.

I love the Iconic Small Vera Tote so much- I have it in Modern Medley and have been carrying it practically every day since I bought it in October! Fits everything I need for an everyday purse with room to spare, and I can easily fit extra items like a book, journal, CD, small snack, or my S’well bottle when needed! The Modern Medley print is beautiful and I like using matching accessories and also mixing with other patterns, such as Falling Flowers 🙂
