3 Ways to Show Support During Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Yesterday kicked off National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer is already hard at work. Their signature event — Tickled Pink: A Gathering of Girlfriends — will take place this weekend at our home office. Supporters will gather for an evening of cocktails with girlfriends while raising funds for breast cancer research. If you can’t join us for this inspiring event but still want to be involved, there are three easy ways to give your support.

Round Up Your Order

Did you know that every purchase made in-store is eligible to be “rounded-up” to the next dollar with that difference going toward the Vera Bradley Foundation? Also, for online orders, you’re able to add on donations starting at $1. Although these donations may seem small, together they make a huge difference!

Make a Donation

If you’re looking to make a direct donation to the Vera Bradley Foundation, you can go to verabradley.org. Donations can be made on a one-time or recurring basis. 86 cents of every dollar donated goes to breast cancer research so you can feel confident your donation is going directly to the cause.

Wear Pink

Show your support during October (and beyond) by wearing our 2017 Vera Bradley Foundation pattern, Modern Medley. If you’re looking for a gift for someone affected by breast cancer or want to show the power of hope yourself, our new Key to Hope Necklace is perfect. In a pretty rose gold hue, this necklace is a subtle way to show your support.

For the first time ever, Vera Bradley will be matching all online and in-store donations to the Vera Bradley Foundation dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000 during our Friends and Family Sale Event this weekend! Stop in Vera Bradley stores and online Friday, October 6 through Monday, October 9 to shop 25% off your entire purchase and make a donation to create a difference!
